Series PG220
DC motor series PG220 with planetary gearbox
- DC carbon-brush motor
- It contains a filter to suppress electromagnetic interference
- Bidirectional, the direction of rotation can be set by changing the polarity of the supply voltage
- There is also a version with encoder
- Planetary gearbox with metal gears (except first stage)
- Only first stage is made of plastic for noise reduction purpose
- Output shaft is supported by a ball bearing

Encoder specifications
The motor can have a magnetic encoder with two Hall sensors with a phase shift of 90°. The output is connected as an open collector. The supply voltage is in the range from 3.5 to 20 V. The length of the wires is 100 mm. We offer suitable PCB connectors.
- 3 pulses per motor revolution (PPR) and senzor
- Length of encoder (without cover) (L) 8.5 mm
Wire connection
- black: motor power supply -
- red: motor power supply +
- brown: encoder power supply +
- green: encoder power supply GND
- blue: output from hall sensor A
- purple: output from hall sensor B
